Alison Cromer, LLMSW

Allie Cromer (she/her) is a Mental Health Therapist at Timber Creek Counseling. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Social Work with her MSW and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and History from the University of Michigan. Allie’s graduate experience as an Advocate at the University’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center allowed her to focus on providing trauma-informed services and collaborating with clients holding diverse identities.

 

Allie has extensive experience working with survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Allie believes in centering the client's experience and providing a warm, affirming therapeutic environment. Allie utilizes principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness in her work. She prioritizes a holistic approach and values empathy, holding space with her clients and advocating for any needs her clients may have along their healing journey. Her focus areas are anxiety, depression, identity, grief, and life transitions.
