Dr. Danielle Piggott
Dr. Danielle Piggott (she/her) completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Dakota. Dr. Piggott has experience working with children, adults, couples, and families in multiple settings including outpatient and inpatient mental health, partial hospitalization programs, and integrated healthcare workgroups. She completed her doctoral internship at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System where she gained specific training to work with those who served in the military.
She is passionate about working with adults for both individual and couples therapy. Across all her work, Dr. Piggott takes a holistic and person-centered approach. She firmly believes each person and each partnership is unique, and she works mindfully alongside you to establish a plan for therapy that both fits your needs and is shown by scientific research to be effective.
Dr. Piggott has extensive experience working with clients who experience anxiety, depression, sleep-related problems, and difficulties related to relationship conflict, life adjustments, and interpersonal trauma.
Dr. Piggott specializes in couples work. She uses research-based Emotion Focused Therapy with integrated elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, the Gottman Method, and Integrated Behavioral Couples Therapy to help partners more clearly understand each other and to re-establish security and loving connection. Her priority is that you both feel heard, and she views it as a great honor to be invited into your experience.
